Choir
The Phillips Chapel choir is always looking for new talent! Whether you sing like an angel or simply want to “make a joyful noise,” you are welcome to join us. The choir practices Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:00 pm (not during summer). We also practice 15 minutes prior to the 11:00 service on Sundays in the Fellowship Hall. -
Committees
As the body of Christ, we believe that we are called to serve our church and our community. Phillips Chapel has a number of committees that help us accomplish these tasks in meaningful ways. We believe that God has equipped us for service through the talents that He has given each person. If you feel led to use your talents by serving on a committee, please talk to Pastor Mark or any member of the Committee on Lay Leadership. -
Meadow Creek Ruritans
Combined with members of other area churches, the Meadow Creek Ruritans is a service organization that works together to help others in our community. The Ruritans meet on the third Thursday of each month. You can find our meeting time and location in the Upcoming Events section.

Meals on Wheels
Phillips Chapel helps support Meals on Wheels by delivering meals to the homebound in our community one week each month. 85% of clients say Meals on Wheels helps them eat healthier each month and 93% say that it helps them to continue to live in their own home.

PC Men’s Group
The men’s group meets the last Sunday of each month at 7:30am at Cracker Barrel in Mebane for breakfast and fellowship. Our group helps with fund raising activities throughout the year and prepares and serves breakfast to the congregation on Easter Sunday following our Sunrise Service. We believe there is real strength in numbers and welcome new men to join us. -

Snack Pack Ministries
Phillips Chapel supports the Snack Pack ministry at Alexander Wilson Elementary School in an effort to address food insecurities in our community. Currently we partner with Carpenter Church, Salem Church, Graham Presbyterian, Swepsonville Baptist and Swepsonville UMC to send a snack pack home with children on Fridays so they have weekend food available to them. -
Slap Happy Quilters
Slap Happy Quilt Group welcomes anyone in the community that has a love of quilting and laughter. The mission of the group is to provide comfort quilts to cancer patients at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Informal Monday night meetings and two-day (Thursday-Friday) retreats in the church fellowship hall rotate monthly. You can find the information in the Upcoming Events section. -
